AGC PAC: The Associated General Contractors Of America Political Action Committee Endorses Adam Laxalt For U.S. Senate
Construction Industry’s Election Fund Also Provides the Maximum Contribution to Support Mr. Laxalt’s Campaign Noting His Long-Time Support for Common Sense, Pro-Growth Measures
The Associated General Contractors of America Political Action Committee, also known as the AGC PAC, announced today that it has endorsed Adam Laxalt for the United States Senate. AGC PAC officials said they are supporting the Laxalt campaign because of his support for pro-growth economic policies and his efforts to curtail government red tape and regulations.
“Congress needs serious leaders who will work hard to find solutions to our nation’s most pressing issues. Adam Laxalt will be an honest voice and tireless advocate for Nevada in the Senate,” said Stephen E. Sandherr, Treasurer of AGC PAC. “As a veteran and attorney general, Adam Laxalt has proven he will stand up and fight for what is right when it comes to protecting our economy, our workers, and our country.”
In addition to endorsing Adam Laxalt, AGC PAC has contributed the maximum amount of $5,000 to his general election. AGC PAC is also encouraging the association’s members in Nevada to help turn out the construction vote in support of his candidacy in the general election on November 8, 2022.
“As attorney general, Adam Laxalt worked hard to protect Nevada and the construction industry from burdensome bureaucratic regulations coming out of Washington, D.C. and fought back against federal overreach on issues like the Environmental Protection Agency’s Waters of the United States Rule and the Department of Labor’s Overtime Rule,” said Craig Madole, CEO of the Nevada Chapter AGC. “Adam Laxalt will serve to protect our industry and our economy. He will take his experience to Washington where he will work to promote a positive business environment for the construction industry and its workforce,” added Ann Barnett, CEO of the Nevada Contractors Association.
AGC is the association for the commercial construction industry, with nearly 800 member firms in the Nevada Chapter AGC and Nevada Contractors Association, representing general and specialty contractors, service providers, and suppliers. This endorsement comes from AGC PAC, the national association’s political action committee.
